I know I know I am such a geek I also watch this show when I get the chance. Here is the thing I did not know you could download the show directly from Sci-Fi. I used to just watch the seasons on DVD but now I am caught up with the show thanks to the Internet (very nerd of me don’t you think?)
Anyway I am at a lost don’t know were the show is going, I think a benefit of watching the show on DVD in one sitting is that you are able to see a lot more of the little details and just put an earlier episode if something catches your eyes (like trying to figure out how the colonies were going to get out of New Caprica) anyway I have a feeling that only a fraction of the people and human Cylons are going to make it to Earth. What I think is going to be the kicker is that they are probably going to arrive to an earlier point of Earth’s History (wouldn’t that be funny?)

A friend of mine has tried to get me to watch this show. I watched the Pilot and I didn't like it. Didn't watch the first 2 seasons, but caught a couple episodes in episode 3. While I liked it, I still refused to watch this season. I fear I'd be lost and I'd prefer to watch from start to finish.
Being a fan of the Original, this new re-vamp was hard for me to accept. Still, I contemplate on buying the seasons. So my question is, what makes this show so great? Is it worth investing my hard earned cash on the DVD's?
I don’t know if investing your hard earned money would be my solution. I use Blockbuster online and have the movies delivered to me, it all depends I usually do this once a year (get the unlimited movie pass) and just go crazy for a month or so. Only if I really like them I get them. One of my girlfriends and I just watched the first 5 seasons of Girlmore Girls this way it was fun and she ended up getting them afterwards.
As for me, I remember the original Battlestar from an old rerun, I remember having cute guys but that is all I remember of the show (lame I know) the current show its definitely not like you regular Sci-Fi Show, there is a lot of Drama and I think that is why I like it.
