Why I don’t Like Comcast

I know I bet I am part of the great majority out there but here is what happened today no less. So I am going to do some work for school (yeah I know waiting until the last minute) and I got myself ready to start searching when my internet is down, well no problem I waited 30 minutes before I got worried, so I called Comcast:

Me: Yeah I have a problem; my internet is not working…

Comcast: Ahhhh yeah I can look into that, do you know if anyone else is having this problem?

Me: I don’t know I am sure someone out there could be.

Comcast: Ehhh, no I mean in your apartment complex

Me: Don’t know, I can ask the guy next door, he kind of creeps me out but I think I saw him a few minutes ago

Comcast: Well I could send a trouble ticket but it is not going to do you any good if someone else does not report the same problem in your complex, otherwise you would need to wait 24-48hrs for a technician.

Me: Ok… I can of need my internet, I have a paper to turn in thru email [my memory stick got lost a few weeks back]

Comcast: sorry but that is the best we can do.

After talking to the Creepo-Next door, and calling Comcast again…

Me: Yeah I have a problem with my internet, my next door Creep… I mean neighbor is having the same problem, can you help?

Comcast: I am sorry, but he would need to report the problem himself in order for us to be able to go and check on it…

After talking to the Creepo-Next door, making sure he calls Comcast and calling Comcast yet again…

Me: Yeah I called earlier about my internet, I know some people from my apartment complex have called about the same problem is there a timeframe when you guys will have the problem solved?

Comcast: Yeah our technicians are looking into this matter as we speak, we hope to have someone in there in about 24-48hrs…

It is not because they have the problem with the service, it is understandable but why have me do all these stuff if they could not even come to check on the problem? AHHHHHHHHHHHH I hate Comcast that was 3hrs lost of my time! The worst part is that they are the only service that I can get in here… I guess you get what you pay.
